Scripture
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” —2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
Devotion
Fear can paralyze us. It whispers lies that keep us from stepping out in faith, pursuing our calling, or trusting God fully. But fear is not from God—faith is.
Through His Spirit, God gives us the courage to face our fears with power, love, and a sound mind. That doesn’t mean we won’t feel afraid, but it means fear doesn’t get the final say.
When fear rises, speak truth over it. Declare God’s promises. Remember who He is and who you are in Him. Faith doesn’t ignore fear—it chooses to trust God in spite of it.
Prayer
God, I choose to trust You over my fears. Replace the spirit of fear with Your peace and strength. Help me to walk in faith, knowing You go before me and fight for me. Amen.
