Scripture
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” —Matthew 11:28 (NIV)
Devotion
We live in a culture that glorifies busyness and constant activity. But our souls weren’t made to run nonstop. Jesus invites us to come to Him and find rest—not just physical rest, but deep, soul-level rest.
True rest isn’t found in a vacation, a nap, or a day off (though those help). It’s found in Christ. It’s in laying our burdens down, releasing control, and trusting Him to carry what we cannot.
If you’re weary today, don’t push through. Pause. Breathe. Go to Jesus. Let Him be your rest and renewal.
Prayer
Jesus, I’m tired. I need Your rest. Teach me to slow down and come to You, trusting that You care for me. Refresh my spirit and help me to find peace in Your presence. Amen.
