Scripture
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.” —John 14:27 (NIV)
Devotion
The world around us can be loud, stressful, and full of tension. But as followers of Christ, we’re not called to reflect the chaos—we’re called to carry peace. Not a fleeting peace that depends on circumstances, but the deep, steady peace that comes from Jesus Himself.
When we stay rooted in Christ, we become carriers of peace. Our calm presence can quiet storms around us. Our gentle words can diffuse tension. Our prayers can bring light into dark places.
This peace is a gift from Jesus—available to us daily through His Spirit. As we receive His peace, we can offer it freely to others, becoming a refuge in the chaos and a light in the darkness.
Prayer
Jesus, thank You for Your peace that the world cannot take away. Help me to live as a person of peace today. May my life reflect Your calm and steadiness, and may others be drawn to You through the peace I carry. Amen.
