Firmly Rooted: Living from Identity in Christ

Tree growing with deep roots illustrated in the dirt below. Text saying: Firmly Rooted: Living from Identity in Christ

Firmly Rooted: Living from Identity in Christ is a teaching series about building a strong spiritual foundation and living from who God says we are in Christ. Many people search for identity in success, reputation, culture, or the expectations of others. Scripture teaches that our true identity begins in Christ and grows as we remain rooted in Him.

This teaching series helps us understand what it means to develop deep spiritual roots and to find our identity in Christ. It guides us to live as adopted children in God’s family. Moreover, it teaches us to abide in Jesus so our lives bear lasting fruit. We have written each teaching in this series to use clear and simple language. This ensures believers around the world can read, watch, and grow along with us.

We invite you to walk through this series with us. Allow God to strengthen your faith, your confidence, and your hope as you remain firmly rooted in Christ.

Firmly Rooted Reflection

We are reminded, as we walk through this series, that a strong Christian life does not begin with striving or achievement. A strong Christian life begins with a strong foundation in Christ. When our lives are firmly rooted in Him, our identity, strength, and hope grow from a place of security and trust.

Each teaching in this series invites us to look honestly at what shapes our identity and to examine where we root our lives. As we recognize that God chooses us, redeems us, and adopts us into His family, we stop living from fear, shame, or insecurity. Instead, we live from the truth of who God says we are.

This series encourages us to deepen our relationship with Jesus, to remain connected to Him, and to allow His truth to shape how we think. It influences how we live, and how we see ourselves and others. Our prayer is that God uses these teachings to strengthen your faith. May it help you live each day firmly rooted in Christ.
