Scripture
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.” —Matthew 5:11 (NIV)
Devotion
Standing for Christ in today’s world can invite criticism, mockery, or rejection. Whether subtle or direct, opposition to your faith can feel isolating. But Jesus reminded us that this kind of hardship is a sign that we’re walking in His footsteps.
When others speak against your faith or question your values, respond not with defensiveness but with grace. Let your character speak louder than your critics. Be faithful, kind, and unshakable in your commitment to Christ.
God sees your quiet strength. He honors your endurance. And you are not alone—many in the family of God walk the same road of bold, humble faith.
Prayer
Lord, help me to remain steady when I’m criticized for my faith. May I reflect Your love and truth without fear. Strengthen me to walk in grace and perseverance. Amen.
