When constructing any building, you want to make sure that your foundation is firm and sound. You take many measurements and use just the right materials so that the building will stand against any storm or unsettling of the earth.
Our lives must also be built on a firm foundation, much like a building. Principles that can withstand the test of time and the storms of life or society.
Jesus concludes the sermon on the mount in Matthew 7:24-25 with this concept.
Matthew 7:24-25 NIV “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. (25) The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
In Building A Firm Foundation we will be discussing the foundational truths for a life in Christ. We will give you tools to build your life on the rock and not on sand.

Born again and salvation are different terms used for in what this said is regeneration by the Holy Spirit of sinful man. We’re going to dive in and look at that and we’re going to begin by looking at a conversation that Jesus had with a prominent Jewish leader named Nicodemus.
